Kagan PLD provides teachers with a wide variety of practical tools, Kagan Structures, to respond to student needs at any one time. Kagan Structures allow teachers to process, review, revisit and cement learning using proven brain-friendly methods.

Kagan Structures ensure high levels of active student engagement and dialogue where every student is supported to share. Tuakana Teina and/or Ako are evident in every Kagan Structure, and are embedded in our core principles.

Relationship development is embedded in Kagan Cooperative Learning. Create an inclusive, caring, cooperative, and safe classroom culture, where every student feels respected and valued, using our proven pedagogical approach.
